I spent an hour with friends this past Saturday morning taking photos around Tilghman Island, Maryland and I selected a handful of the one’s I liked best below.  The stops on our tour were Tonger’s Basin, Knapps Narrows, a sunflower field about a mile down the road, and Dogwood Harbour.

Every year we enjoy watching the Osprey return to our little cove and raise a family. Last year was not successful as I had heard from the neighbors that the usual roost had been attacked by a “black bird” and the offspring were killed.  We’re hoping for better results this year and here is this year’s couple, captured mid-April, 2009
